1979年５月１０日、神奈川県茅ヶ崎市在住。日本人として初めてアメリカスケートメディア界で絶大な人気を誇る「４１１VM」にてwheels of fortune特集とオープニングトリック（ベストトリック）に選ばれ、後に２度目となるオープニングトリックに選ばれる快挙を果たす。
ヨーロッパのビデオマガジン「puzzle vol.24」でも日本人として初めてfocus（特集）に選ばれる。
２００６年にはアメリカ大手スケートボードカンパニー「element skateboards」から日本人として初、インターナショナルとしても初となるファーストシグネチャーデッキがリリースされる名実ともに世界に存在感を示す数少ない日本人スケーターである。
２００８年、NINJA BEARINGよりシグネチャーベアリングをリリース。
自身がプロデュースするビスブランド「SOURCE」を始動。
２００９年、株式会社INDECKSを立ち上げ、自身がプロデュースするスケートボードブランド「IFO SKATEBOARD」を始動し、スケートボードシーン全体を見据えた更なる飛躍を目指し、国内外問わず、メディア活動を中心に進行中。

He was also the first Japanese skater to appear in the focus section on European skate video Puzzle vol. 24.
In 2006 ELEMENT Skateboards put him on their international team and released his pro model deck, this is a skater who is recognised on the world stage.
In 2008 Ninja bearings released his signature model bearing.
He has also started his own company, source. In 2009 he released his skateboard brand IFO SKATEBOARDS and is focusing his efforts on further increasing his contribution to the overall skate scene both at home and abroad..
